Security and
trust
Local organizations work with sensitive information: community data, individual cases and decisions that affect lives. Here we explain how we use AI and how we look after your organization's information.
AI supports.
People decide.
AidLabs uses AI to reduce the time a small team spends on repetitive information work: structuring field notes, summarizing large volumes of material, identifying patterns across reports, and drafting a first version of an analysis. It does not make humanitarian judgment calls, and it does not replace the interpretation that belongs to the organization closest to the context.
AI drafts, structures and summarizes. People review, correct and decide.
Every AI-assisted output is meant to be reviewed, not published unchecked.
Data protection, confidentiality and context sensitivity guide the design of every AI feature.
How we protect your information.
The information your organization collects belongs to your organization. We designed the platform so that only your team can see it, it is protected at all times and it doesn't get lost, even when fieldwork happens offline.
Built on MongoDB
We store information in MongoDB, one of the world's most widely used databases, trusted by banks, health services and governments. It provides encryption, role-based access control and auditing as standard, rather than custom-built solutions.
Separate workspaces
Each organization works in its own space. Its information is never mixed with or shared with other organizations on the platform.
Encrypted information
Data travels encrypted (TLS) between the device and our servers, and is stored encrypted at rest.
Role-based access
Each team member sees only what they need for their work. The most sensitive cases and data are restricted to the right people.
Authentication and traceability
Access requires authentication, and important changes are logged so you know who did what and when.
Backups
Information is backed up regularly so it can be recovered in case of failures, errors or a lost device.
Your data is yours
We do not sell or share your organization's information. You can request to export or delete it at any time.
Privacy policy.
This policy explains how AidLabs handles the personal information you share with us, especially through the contact form.
